Celebrate Reformation Day

Reformation Day is a Protestant Christian holiday celebrated on October 31. It recognizes the day Martin Luther posted his 95 Theses on the door of the church in Wittenberg, Germany in 1517. This act ignited the Protestant Reformation. The 95 Theses contained protests of the unbiblical practices of the Roman Catholic Church. Luther was advocating for a return to the Bible as the supreme authority and not the church.

Some Christians and churches celebrate Reformation Day instead of (or in addition to) Halloween on October 31. I have created some printable resources to help you and your family or students acknowledge this important piece of church history. You can use these printables for a Reformation Day lesson or celebration, a fall festival, or a trunk-or-treat event.

Reformation Day Coloring Pages

These Reformation Day printable coloring pages show Martin Luther nailing his 95 Theses to the door of the church. Two versions included. Martin Luther "Nailed It" literally and figuratively, pointing the church back to the Word of God and starting the Protestant Reformation.
